Open your project, click  Calendar  to open your project calendar. Next, click anywhere on the calendar to create a task. You can also click and drag to create multi-day tasks.

What is a Workspace? A workspace is a shared work environment for your company or team, where you can create projects and collaborate together. Each workspace requires its own paid subscription. Workspaces can be used by an individual, a team, a department, or an entire company. When workspaces are created, you can add teammates to your workspace. Teammates are paid members of the workspace who have access to all of the features on your account. Teammates can create projects, upload assets, save templates and much more. Creating Your First Workspace When you start a new account on Assemble, you will be prompted to create a new Workspace. First, add a  Workspace Name . This can be your company name, team name, or any other name that you want. Next, add a  Workspace Logo . This will appear on your Workspace dashboard for anyone who joins the workspace. Start a new projects From your Project Dashboard, click the  New Project  button in the top right corner. On the next screen, you can choose to start a  Blank Project  or use a pre-made  Project Template : Click  Blank Project  to build a project from scratch. To learn more about project templates, click here . Next, enter the  Project Name  and  Company Name . Additionally, you can add a  Company Logo . Adding Phases Next, you'll be given the option to add  Phases . Phases help you organize your project into different stages. Each phase can have its own assets, tasks and viewing permissions. Click  Add Phase  to create a custom phase. In the next screen, you can enter the  Name, Description,  and  Color  of the phase. You can also select from our list of  Phase   Suggestions.  Click any of the suggested phases to add them to your project. Creating a Document To create a new document in Assemble, follow these steps: Navigate to any of your  Phase  folders, and then select  Add > Document . A new blank  Document  will open. Type a name in the  Document Title  section to give the document a title. The title will be reflected at the top of the document as well. Click  Type something here  and begin typing to add text into the body of your document. Change Text Formatting To change the formatting of text within your document, highlight the text you would like to format and the  Formatting Bar  will appear. Within this menu you can change: Font Color & Background Color:  Click the  A  button to open the color menu. Scroll down to select a  Font Color  and  Ba ckground color. Header Style:  Click  Paragraph  to change the header style of the text. You can choose from  Large Title, Title, Subtitle  and  Paragraph .
