Integrating your Workspace with Slack
Learn how to integrate your Assemble workspace with Slack to receive notifications for new comments and status changes.
How the Slack Integration Works
When you integrate your workspace with Slack, you will receive notifications in Slack for calendars and files you have permission to view in your Assemble workspace.
Notifications include:
New comments on files or tasks
Status changes on files or calendars
How to Setup the Slack Integration
Before setting up your Slack integration, make sure you are logged into Slack with the user that you would like to connect your Assemble workspace to.
Next, open your Assemble workspace, click your Profile icon and choose Settings.
Next, click on the Integrations tab and choose Connect Slack next to the Slack integration.
Follow the steps to finalize your integration, and once complete you will be redirected back to your Integrations page where you can see that your Slack integration has been successfully connected. You will now begin receiving Assemble notifications in the Slack app.
You can turn Slack notifications on or off under the Notifications tab.
How to Disconnect the Slack Integration
If you want to disconnect the Slack integration, just navigate back to the Integrations tab, and then hover the Connected button to see the Disconnect option.
Click this button and your Slack integration will be disconnected.
